ULEZ to cover all boroughs, but ‘grace period’ for disabled Londoners extended after consultation
London’s Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) is to cover all boroughs from 29 August 2023, Mayor of London Sadiq Khan has announced in a report responding to a public consultation. The ULEZ currently extends out to, but not including the North and South Circular roads.
Those who drive a vehicle that does not meet the emissions standards, which includes residents within the expanded ULEZ, could face a daily charge of £12.50. However, the ULEZ charge does not apply if a vehicle is parked within the zone but not driven.
