TfL drops plan to scrap 18 bus routes with extra £25m a year after consultation
Plans to withdraw 18 bus routes across the capital have been dropped after Mayor of London Sadiq Khan pledged around £25m extra funding a year to bus services. But three other routes will be withdrawn and there will be changes to four night bus routes.
The extra funding will come from “unallocated Greater London Authority reserves”, made up of business rates and council tax, Transport for London (TfL) told LTT.
