Average of 757 trips per head as Transport Statistics GB published
The DfT has published its Transport Statistics Great Britain 2022, showing statistical trends in the British transport sector for the year 2021.
It records that people made 757 trips on average across private and public transport in England, similar to 2020 levels of which 93% were made using private transport modes, including cars, vans, walking and pedal cycles.
