A new in-depth survey of public opinion on the various options for replacing road user taxation with a new kind of payment system suggests that people are ready for this change, but there are important considerations in the design of a system that will be accepted and effective. LTT looks at what the report, commissioned by the Campaign for Better Transport, contains.
